I'm sick today-- donno what it is, maybe a cold or something -- so I went hunting up "Axel's Hips Don't Lie" to amuse myself. For some reason that thing entertains me even though I've never played the game.

I happened to notice another Kingdom Hearts fanvid in the sidebar.

URL in case that didn't work: Kingdom Hearts Random Crap: The Musical (Spoiler warning)

Some bits are better than others, and they need to fix the volume of some songs to match the rest, but there are parts of it that had me hooting for oxygen.

My favorite is Demyx. The Clueless Trio saying "Hello nurse!" to Auron is also...um...something. O.o ;;

I LOVE THAT AXEL VIDEO.

Mind, I also haven't played the game. But still. Too amusing.

Kingdom Hearts seems to have a plague of parody videos. I am not surprised by this fact, somehow.

I came across this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOpP8QZmMAQ while searching for KH2 Auron videos (as the Matt McKenzie fan website seems to have shut down) and it really shouldn't make me laugh. But it does. I've watched a handful of videos by this director --it seems dubbed all the cut-scenes from KH2 and I'm afraid each one elicited a snorty giggle (apparently from my inner 13 year old boy).

Evidently my sense of humor is slightly different than yours; "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!" never ceases to amuse me, yet I tire of fag jokes quickly!

Parts of that were cute, though. :)

And yes, the Axel vid is so wonderful. One doesn't have to know the game to enjoy it!

WAAAH!

I didn't realize the Mckenzie site was gone. Oy, I wish I'd downloaded all the clips from it!

Did I mention the inner juvenile 13 year old? Hee. The irony being, of course, that at thirteen I would have hated jokes like that --I'm afraid my humor has been tempered (ruined?) by my jaded po-mo existence since then. Erm!

I just imagine a geeky teenage girl behind her computer microphone dubbing all of it and it makes me smile.
