So I stumbled across a good FF fan forum which includes roleplaying, working on wikipedia, and a number of nice features. A bit like the old LOTR Plaza where I used to spend so much time, except fewer members. Final Fantasy Project.

An admin invited me to write Lulu's journal. I understand why the Very Secret Diaries were written, as a spoof of all those fanfics that imply Our Heroes were running around toting a Dear Diary and writing in it while traipsing through dungeons, capture, etc. Yeah, right. Trouble is, Lulu's the type who just might do it. So I bit. I was having insomnia.

So, here's two entries.

Title: Memories of a Guardian
Final Fantasy X
Lulu, Chappu, Wakka, Yuna, Kimahri, Ginnem
Rating: PG-13

(Day 1, Year 8 of Braska's Calm ~ Choices)

(Day 20, Year 8 of Braska's Calm ~ Lady Ginnem?)

Those are fascinating, and very in-character. I'm looking forward to future installments!

(Also, I LOVE Lulu having set Kimahri's tail on fire. It's genius.)

speaking of LOTR Plaza... do you know Saavik over there? she came across my TNG/LOTR fics and uber loves them. she mentioned someone told her about my stories over there.

Now I shall go bounce off and read this story. :D

This is a powerful start, full of many little climaxes of character insight. I do like the idea that Lulu is not of the same stock as the other islanders, it makes so much sense that it's practically canon. I really like your idea that Lulu became a guardian to protect Yuna. Makes so much sense and packs such an emotive punch.

Ah, that Ginnem/Auron angle. It fits so neatly.

I like how the almost prudish nature of this almost makes the "hot jungle afternoon" seem more feral and lusty than actual smut. You don't have to tell us when its there, because we will read it like that.

I like the little glimpses into a summoner's training and temple life.
